Weaving Hand is partnering with the Nu-Gamma brothers of Kappa sigma, Pratt institute, in order to raise money for the Military Heroes Campaign. The brothers of Kappa Sigma will be weaving a large American flag that will be donated to the Fisher House organization. They will begin to weave the flag on October 2nd and the event will be on October 9th at 12:00 pm. At the event we will display the flag and invite all that are present to help us complete it.
Join global goods partners and weaving hand in a conversation with weaving cooperatives Asociacion de Artesanos Andinos from Bolivia and Desgua from Guatemala to talk about their craft and how they are developing their communities. Demonstrations and refreshments will follow. Items for sale.

An art show that explores fiber as sculpture ad installation. Working with variety of materials from steel wool and wire to threads and aluminum foil, these artist have created a new expression in the ever changing landscape of Fiber Arts.
